My name is Jeff Czapla.
I love bass fishing and the rush I get when I tournament fish. If you haven’t experienced being in a bass tournament, I highly advise you try one out and hang on for a thrill you can’t get anywhere else short of skydiving! The year 2010 was not a bad fishing year for me as a whole. I ended up taking second place in overall standings as a co-angler in the West Coast Bass Circuit. I made some friends and gained experience over the year and hope to share that knowledge with other fishermen who are interested in the sport.
Well, it’s 2011 and a New Year! My plan is to fish the Angler’s Choice Western Rookie League and possibly some Pro/Am tournaments this year. The Angler’s Choice WRL is a respectable series and well run organization that will help me practice making tournament decisions and hone in my fishing skills. I will continue working with my sponsors in any way that I can help promote them and I thank them for being a part of the RB Bass Team.
When I’m not out tournament fishing or getting ready for a tournament, I am most likely fun fishing with my wife and daughter or with friends. It’s a great feeling when you see someone get “hooked” on fishing particularly kids. I feel that the future of bass fishing needs to be instilled in our youth. I plan on attending youth angler events in 2011 to offer advice and tips which help kids catch fish and have fun!
