Ron spends numerous days on the water each year and several others at media engagements. He manages to find time during his busy schedule for television appearances, and event promotions,and donates days to today’s youth fishermen and women.In addition Ron Howe is Pro Staff for Bass Anglers Guide the magazine,Quantum,BerserkBaits,the BaitBarn, Persuader American, Tylures custom baits, and Daiichi Hooks Ron is also sponsord by Wild Water Adventure Park, Valley Oak Appliance and Christophers Constuction of Elk Grove. A serious competitor growing his skills and working his way up the tournament ladder to become a Pro Angler . Ron’s accomplishments include 3 tournament wins 3 second place finishes 3 third place finishes and many top ten and top twenty finishes. Ron has had 5 trips to the tournament of champions in the last 6 years.

Skilled as a communicator and promoter, Ron has been a guest on CBS the sports show, Promotional DVD video shoot with Berserk Baits and the Bait Barn . Video shoot with American Tire Distributors in 2007. Ron promoted Tire sponsors at 100% Bass tournament trails in 2006/2007/2008 and assisted with a media and marketing campaign that included newspaper, internet and radio advertising for Tire Sponsors and 100% Bass.

I love to Bass Fish- make no mistake about it. I have a tremendous passion for this sport and think it is growing to all time levels and will continue to grow. I have been fishing since I could hold a fishing pole thanks to my Mom!!! My love for Bass Fishing came from a man named Red he took me out in his Red Ranger Bass Boat towed with his Red pickup truck and we toured the mother lode lakes and I can still remember my first top water bite and setting the hook with a plastic worm. That was it I was hooked. My skills continue to grow as a fisherman and I am getting better every day. I continue to meet quality people in the fishing community and look forward to meeting more new faces. I am a positive and approachable guy.  I look forward to passing my skills on to todays youth to enjoy the outdoors and Bassfishing, RB style!
